Online applications are
invited from eligible candidates for consideration of their cases for
appointment on contractual basis for a period of eleven months in the capacity of
Assistant Professor. Details regarding the eligibility criteria, educational
qualification, selection process, etc. are indicated as hereunder:

1. Educational
Qualifications:
(i) The candidates must possess the
qualifications as prescribed under the UGC Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other
Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of
Standards in Higher Education, Regulations, 2018”.
(ii) The
incumbent must have MTech/Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT/ or related field with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data
Analytics, or a related field with strong research portfolio with publications
in reputable journals.
(iii) The candidate who has been awarded Ph.D.
degree prior to the implementation of University Grants Commission (Minimum
Standard and Procedure Regulation, 2009) shall be exempted from the
requirement of passing the NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of
following conditions.
(a) The Ph.D. degree of the
candidate awarded in regular mode only;
(b) Evaluation of the Ph.D.
thesis by at least two external examiners;
(c) The candidate had published
two research papers out of which at least one in a refereed journal from out of
his/her Ph.D. work;
(d) The candidate had presented two papers
in seminars / conferences from out of his / her Ph.D. Work;
(e) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate
had been conducted.
Point
(a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Dean of the respective faculties/Registrar
of the respective University.
2. Selection
Process: The selection of candidates for contractual appointment shall be
made on the basis of their performance in the selection process to be conducted
by the Selection Committee, as may be constituted by the College in this
regard. The merit list for selection of candidates shall be prepared taking
into account their academic records, teaching experience, publication of
books/articles in the relevant subject in recognized journals as per UGC
guidelines and performance in the interview, modality in relation to which
shall be decided by the Selection Committee(s).
3. Application forms submitted by
candidates in the prescribed manner will be screened subsequently and shortlisted
by the College. The details of shortlisted candidates along with information
regarding the dates of their interview will be notified on the website of the
College.
4. Remuneration:
Consolidated
pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month
Terms
& Conditions:
(i) The number of posts advertised
in different subjects is provisional and subject to variation.
(ii)
Age, experience and other
prescribed qualifications will be counted as on the last date prescribed for
submission of the application forms.
(iii) This engagement will be purely contractual
in nature and as such, would not give rise to any claim for regularization or
permanent appointment in any capacity in the services of the College.
(iv) The engagement can be terminated by the
competent authority any time without assigning any reason thereof.
(v) The selected persons shall
not be entitled to any other benefit, like provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical
allowance, seniority, promotion, etc., or any other benefits available to the University
teachers appointed on regular basis.
(vi) The candidate should not have been
convicted by any court of law.
(vii) In case any information given or
declaration made by a candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully
suppressed any material information in the application form, his/her
candidature is liable to be cancelled and proper action may be taken as the
College may deem fit and proper.
(viii) All the communications with respect to this selection
process shall be made through the registered email id of the applicants only. Applicants
must regularly check their registered email id inbox and spam for the
information related to interview call and appointment.

till 4.30 P.M.
